Voltaren is used to treat pain and inflammation associated with:nother painful conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute pain in children, children’s arthralgia, acute pain in adults, and children’s ibuprofen pain.
While generally well tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects, especially if the benefits outweigh the risks.
If you have heart problems, kidney problems, high blood pressure, depression, diabetes, or an inherited lung disorder, you should use, avoid smoking, use vitamin E, exercise moderate intensity, and consult a doctor if you experience serious side effects.
Do not use during pregnancy or while taking NSAID medications. While using this product, inform your doctor about any medical conditions you have, especially heart, kidney, or liver disease, or use other medications that can interact with Voltaren. Do not use if you are allergic to or have had an allergic reaction to diclofenac, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or aspirin containing medications. Always consult a doctor before using in any form. Using in combination with Voltaren can lead to serious side effects, including an increased risk of bleeding, heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems. In the event of a stomach upset, contact your doctor. Do not use if you are a woman of childbearing age. Do not use if you are also using a corticosteroid product, or if you are using Voltaren as a suppository or cream. Also, do not use if you are using Voltaren product for arthritis or after a steroid cycle. Always consult a doctor before using if you have a history of cardiovascular issues.
