Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma (eg. sports injuries, sprains and strains), soft tissue rheumatism and localised rheumatic conditions, eg. bursitis, and for aches and pains, back, neck, and shoulder pain.
Diclofenac diethylammonium 11.6 mg/g.
Rub gently into the affected area 3 or 4 times daily. Do not use for more than 2 weeks unless under medical advice.
Do not use: on children under 12 years, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have an allergy to diclofenac, aspirin or any other NSAID. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have:asthma that you know is aggravated by the use of analgesics; ulcers, bleeding or any other serious disorder of the stomach or bowel; severe kidney disease or you are taking any other medicines.

Your doctor must be aware of your complete health and will tell you exactly where they are able to determine the right dosage. Diclofenac may be taken with or without food. Do not take diclofenac without talking to your doctor.
Tell your doctor if you have also been taking aspirin or other other NSAIDs (eg. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), you may have a stomach bleeding called stomach intra-abdominal pressure (IAAP). If you become pregnant tell your doctor immediately.
Voltaren Emulgel should be used with the following caution: if the pressure develops to high fever, or if it develops, or if it causes symptoms of IAP (symptoms of which there are several): a stomach pain or heartburn; difficulty breathing; thrombosis (blood clotting), swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat.
